David Haye Signs to Play Professionally in El Salvador

DELHI, N.Y. (July 12, 2017) – Former SUNY Delhi men's basketball player David Haye (Spring Valley N.Y. / Ramapo) has signed a professional contract to play for Todos Somos NCE Lobos of El Salvador. Haye, a 6'3" guard, recently completed his collegiate career with the Broncos, playing under head coach Zack Thomsen this past season.

In just one season with the Broncos, Haye played in 30 games with 27 starts, averaging 23.0 ppg., 6.9 rpg. and 2.9 assists per game. A 2016-17 USCAA All-America second team selection, he scored over 30 points on eight different occasions, including a career-high 39 points against Fulton Montgomery on November 1, 2016, and scoring the game winning basket in an 83-82 win at Alfred State on February 11, 2017. The 6'3" guard also shot 46.9 percent (257-for-548) from the field and 36.8 percent (86-for-234) from 3-point range.
