Jacquelynne Pugh enters her first season as the SUNY Delhi women's basketball team's assistant coach for the 2018-2019 season. Pugh recently completed her master’s degree in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University this past May.
Pugh comes from an extensive background in basketball, both coaching and competing. Recently, Pugh served as an intern for Tri-Valley Central School’s athletic department and the Boys & Girls Club in Waterbury, CT. Throughout her internships, Pugh assisted in developing social media accounts, marketing, and organized games. She also was named the assistant coach for Tri Valley’s girls’ varsity basketball team where she helped develop athletes’ skills through individual training sessions.
Prior to receiving her Master’s, Pugh earned her Bachelor’s in Sports Management from Post University. During her time at Post University, she was a member of the women’s basketball team and the student government society. In her final season, the former guard posted 111 points for the Eagles and was the second leading average scorer.
