The SUNY Delhi cross country teams had a great day at their annual Bronco Weekday Classic. Both the men's and women's individual titles went to Delhi runners.
The men's team had a great performance sweeping the top five spots to post a perfect score of 15 points. Leading the way for the men was Freshman Kobie Lane who won the race, establishing a new course record. He finished just ahead of Jack Hillenbrand who was also well under the old course record. Rounding out the top five were Scott Downing, Andrew Davis, and Mathew Robinson.
For the women, Khiere Ashley continued her great season with her first collegiate win, finishing more than 30 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Deirdre Nolis ran another great race finishing third overall. Also turning in top 15 finishes were Jaliza Tull, Rainey Cerqua, and Elise McIntyre.
The team will race again at Williams College on October 24th.
