Lucy Ford is in her first season as the SUNY Delhi cross country and track and field assistant coach for the 2018-19 season. The Cooperstown native comes to Delhi after a stellar career at SUNY Oneonta, where she was a two-time SUNYAC champion in track and field, as well as running cross country.
As a SUNY Oneonta Red Dragon, Ford won the 2016 SUNYAC title in the high jump and the 2017 SUNYAC title in the Heptathlon. Her resume boasts personal bests of 1.69m (5'6.5") in the high jump and 4103 points in the heptathlon. Ford attended Cooperstown High School where she won the 2013 New York State Division II Championship in the high jump. While bringing a knowledge of numerous event areas to the Broncos from her years as a multi-athlete to the program, Ford is set to work on her Master's Degree in Sports Management at SUNY Cortland.
