Poultney, Vt. (October 1, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team delivered a road victory Sunday afternoon, beating Green Mountain by a 6-3 score. The Broncos rallied behind a pair of doubles wins and four singles wins to jump to 2-7 on the season. Newcomer Reika Kumasaki pulled through with victories in both her matches.
The two doubles team of Reika Kumasaki and Mackenzie Landman defeated Paige Vlahos and Danjung Yoon by an 8-4 score. Safiyyah Muhammad went on to beat Vlahos at one singles, 8-3, while Kumasaki beat Nelly O'Connell at two singles, 8-5.
