DELHI, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Men's Golf team opened their 2025 season on a high note Saturday, Aug 30th with strong showings in the team and individual leaderboards at their annual Broncos Invitational at the College Golf Course at Delhi. 

First year Jonathan Tecchio took the victory in his collegiate debut, shooting an even par 72 with four birdies including one to end his round on the par-5 18th. This would prove to make the difference, as three players finished t-2 at +1, including Delhi junior John Souva who managed two birdies on the day. This combined outing was enough to earn the victory for the Broncos' primary squad.

First year Parker Flanagan and junior Thomas Politano led the B and C teams for the Broncos, both shooting a +2 74. Junior Taylor Brock and 2024 NAC Rookie of the Year and Co-Champion Grady Glennon round out the Broncos in the top-10 finishers, posting +3 75s on the day.

Sunday, Aug 31st the Broncos will take on The Apprentice School in a match at the College Golf Course at Delhi, while also sending a squad up to Cobkleskill Golf & Country Club for the Cobleskill Fall Ivitational.
