ALBANY, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Men's Golf team travelled to Shaker Ridge Country Club on Sunday Oct. 5th for a 36 hole event hosted by RPI.
The Broncos played in a well balanced and competitive field over the two day event, placing 9th overall as a team. Sophomore Grady Glennon led the Broncos once again shooting a +11 over the two day event, which included an even par finish on day one. Glennon concluded his rounds placing t-18, while first year Jonathan Tecchio was close behind placing t-30 shooting +13 and Matthew Daniels finished t-36 with a +14 score. To round out the top 50 was Junior Ben Swartz who shot a +17 over the two days and finished t-43, while sophomore Will Martin tied for 50th with a score of +19 to finsh the tournament.
The Broncos are back in action Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12 for the NAC Conference Championship, hosted by SUNY Cobleskilll at the Cobleskill Country Club, where the Broncos will look to bring home some hardware.
