Intrieri Sets Program Record in 2025 SUNYAC Cross Country Championships

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Cross Country teams had a strong start to their tenure in the SUNYAC with the women's team placing fourth and the men's fifth on Saturday, marking their first appaerance in the SUNYAC Cross Country Championships since joining the conference for the 2025 season.

Amanda Intrieri shattered the women's program record for a 6-kilometer time, finishing in 22:05.8 and beating her previous mark of 22:34.5 by a whopping 29 seconds, good enough for fourth at the event. Charlotte Warner placed sixth for Delhi with a time of 22:28.6, also beating Intrieri's previous record set at the Rowan Border Battle. Maria Heebner pitched in a 23:58, placing 20th, with Evie Eastman 39 seconds behind in 25th. Eden Carr rounds out the top five for the Broncos, placing 61st.

On the men's side Michael Lilly led the charge, placing fourth with a time of 26:17.6 on the 8-kilometer course. Liam Cowdrey's 27:01.0 managed him a 12th place finish, with Austin LaFountain, Spencer Moreau, and Wylie Wakefield rounding out the Bronco points scorers.

Additionally, SUNYAC All-Conference Teams were named, with the top 15 finishers at the championship meet recieving these honors. Delhi honorees are as follows:

MEN:
