DELHI, N.Y. — The SUNY Delhi Men's Lacrosse team defeated Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) 12-3 in a non-conference home matchup at Neil Riddell Field on Saturday afternoon.
Delhi took control early, building a 3-0 first quarter lead and never relinquishing it. Kyle Moore led the Broncos with three goals and two assists, while Jagger Beachak added two goals and two assists. Colton Feinberg, Anthony McLaughlin, Shane VonKampen, Jake Anglim, Brent Decoeur, and Christian Seebach each scored once as well.
Dylan Csanko won 12 of 16 face-offs to help Delhi win the possession battle, with the Broncos holding a 38-29 edge in ground balls and a 43-18 advantage in shots. Jayden Messina made six saves in goal to earn the win.
With the victory, Delhi improves to 2-4 on the season.
